i went to the gym after dropping my kids at school yesterday around 4 pm. i just wanted to feel something other than exhausted. i bought a water bottle from the vending machine for two dollars because i was hot and sweaty. i did ten minutes on the treadmill and my knees started hurting. i felt heavy and angry. i went home and sat on the couch for hours. i ate a granola bar because i was hungry but did not want to cook. now i feel worse than when i started. my back hurts and my mood is off. i am tired of trying to be healthy when it just drains me. i spent money on this membership and i hate it. i just want to rest but then i feel guilty. is this normal?

yeah its normal. Omg, muscles you dont use everyday gonna hurt. i soak in epsom salts every night. helps the ache go down. also stretch before bed. dont push through it next time or youll sprain something. drink lots of water too. dehydration makes it worse. rest up姐妹.

yeah it is normal. i did the same trail last weekend and my quads were screaming for two days after. just walk around lightly to keep things moving. ice helps if it gets really sore. dont let it stop you, next time youll be stronger. i drank like three electrolyte drinks right after and slept the whole night. pain is part of the process lol.

Sach? I miss it too. In India we say marriage is long, but first year was pure magic. Now? Just bills and Kids ka homework. My husband is like roommate now. No dates, just grocery runs. I make effort to dress up sometimes just for me tho. Small things like coffee date without kids helps. We try Sunday breakfast out once a month. It keeps something alive tbh.

Honestly same here. I used to force myself to meditate for twenty minutes every morning and it just felt like another item on my to, do list. Now I just read one chapter of a book before bed. No pressure, no timer, just me and the story. If I miss a night, I dont sweat it. It stopped feeling like a chore once I stopped treating it like a performance and just kept it ridiculously low stakes.

same here. i hate how hot and stuffy my living room gets when i run. now i just walk outside by the school track. its quiet early in the morning and the fresh air helps. if i do run inside i turn the fan on max and eat a banana right after. dont try to push through nausea. just stop and drink water.

Babe take the nap. Seriously. My husband wants round two daily and I’m over it. I just tell him I’m dead to the world. We compromise on weekends. Rest is sacred at my age. If he’s mad he can sleep on the couch. Your energy is limited so spend it on yourself. Don’t feel guilty.

honestly same. I deadlift heavy then my whole day is over. My mom would kill me if she saw me nap right after eating but idk. I just crash on the couch while the kids play nearby. Maybe protein shake helps a bit but mostly its just body being wrecked. Go sleep girl. We talk later yeah.

yup same. i do high impact stuff so my knees are basically shot. after sunday service i literally have to ice them for an hour straight. it sucks but hey, pain is temporary right. just keep moving and take some ibuprofen if you have to. dont let it stop you from hitting the gym tomorrow. we got this.

same here. i label my leftovers with my name and the date in big marker. if he eats them he knows he messed up. started doing that last month and honestly it stopped. men are simple creatures. they just need a clear boundary drawn for them lol. now i just keep mine in the top shelf so he cant even see them
