Quote from Webwarranty on March 18, 2019, 10:48 amMy skin was so bad too. For real, I stopped using harsh scrubs. Now just simple routine. Cleanser, toner, moisturizer. In summer I use oil control in morning. At night I apply night cream. Consistency is key. Don’t buy expensive products. Simple things work best. Relax and give it time. My skin cleared up after 3 months. Patience is needed.

Quote from moonriver on April 7, 2020, 8:55 amyeah honey same here. Tbh, i used to hate the gym so much. now i just walk around my neighborhood for 30 mins while listening to audiobooks or music. makes time fly and doesnt feel like a chore at all. sometimes i just sit on the porch and soak up the sun. keeps the joints loose without the agony of lifting weights. hope you find something that clicks for you too.

Quote from calmocean1972 on March 5, 2020, 3:54 pmi just stopped answering his texts about needing space. honestly it feels exhausting to keep picking up the pieces every time he checks out. im focusing on my lesson planning and hanging out with my girls instead. if he wants space he can have it but im not holding my breath. it isnt my job to manage his emotions or wait around.

Quote from andrea1967 on August 11, 2021, 6:40 pmMy husband works construction and comes home dead tired. i used to feel rejected but realized he just needs rest. we cuddle sometimes but don't push for sex. if i really want it, i initiate gentle touch without expectations. if he says no, i respect it and we watch tv. communication helps more than pressure. don't take it personally, man just needs to recharge.

Quote from Jenny1993 on February 22, 2021, 12:18 amsick days are a myth for most of us; im pushing through the body aches right now because rent doesnt pause. just chugging electrolytes and taking ibuprofen every six hours like clockwork; if i feel feverish at work i step out to the parking lot to cool down. its not ideal but it keeps the check coming in; survive one day at a time.

Quote from Cottonsecurity on September 3, 2021, 4:20 pmYeah it’s awful. I’m 48 and just forgot my own nickname for the new dog. Three kids really fries you. I’ve started using a whiteboard by the door for important stuff just to keep my sanity. My ex used to joke about it but honestly it’s exhausting not knowing what day it is half the time. Just drink coffee and roll with it.

Quote from Simplelife1974 on March 1, 2021, 9:04 amhonestly i stopped asking him to help. i just do what needs doing while he hangs out. if he complains about the mess i tell him to fix it himself or shut up. at this point his energy is not worth the fight. i save my mental peace for myself and my kids. let him live in the chaos he ignores. peace is more important than being right.
