ugh so tired. my 2 year old destroyer ripped through his last pair of sneakers in like three weeks. they were those ones from target, the ones with the flashing lights, cost me like 25 bucks. now his toes are poking out. he runs everywhere, climbs on everything. need something that actually lasts. maybe something with velcro? he cant do laces. something not too expensive, i dont want to spend another 25 just for them to be destroyed by july. any brands that hold up to toddler abuse?

@countryroad42 Oh man, I feel you. My little guy is the same way. We tried those light-up ones too, big mistake. He actually managed to break the lights off.

Ugh, @countryroad42, I've been there with the Target shoes. My son went through two pairs last summer. I ended up getting him some Stride Rite ones, they were a bit pricier but lasted way longer.

Yeah, those flashing light ones never last, do they? My niece's toddler tore hers up in a month. We're looking at some See Kai Run for my nephew, they seem pretty sturdy.

@countryroad42 Target shoes are a gamble! My daughter destroys hers too. I just bought some plain velcro ones from Kohl's, hoping they hold up better. She likes the blue ones.

@countryroad42 Oh, the light-up ones! My son did the same thing, he snapped one of the lights off within days. So frustrating when they cost that much.

Ugh, @countryroad42, those Target shoes are a joke sometimes. My nephew’s got a hole in the toe already and he’s only been wearing them for a month.

@countryroad42 I feel you on the shoe situation. My daughter chewed through a pair last month. We ended up getting her some from Kohl's too, plain velcro ones. She wears them every day.

It's so true about those flashing shoes, @countryroad42. My daughter’s have been a disaster. I’m looking at See Kai Run for her next pair, hoping they'll be more durable.

OMG, @countryroad42, I hear you on the flashing shoes! My son did the same thing, snapped a light off in like, a week. Total waste of money.
