omg ladies, im so tired. my husband and i haven't gone out for a proper date in months. we tried to go to that Italian place, Olive Garden, last saturday but the babysitter cancelled last minute. it was like 7pm. then the next weekend, we had soccer practice for Mateo until 8pm. it's just so hard to find time. i want to feel like a couple again, not just roommates who tag team kid duty. i'm starting to think we'll never get out. is there any trick to actually making date night happen?

@Frostgold Oh no, Olive Garden disaster! That's the worst. We usually have our parents on standby just for that reason. Hope you get a date night soon!

Ugh, that's so frustrating, @Frostgold! Babysitters cancelling is the bane of my existence. We finally just hired a regular teen from down the street.

@Frostgold, I feel you. Date nights are so hard to schedule. My husband and I just ended up ordering pizza and watching a movie at home last week. Still nice though!

Oh bummer, @Frostgold. That's a bummer about Olive Garden. We ended up doing a "date night" where we both cooked dinner separately then ate together. Weird, but it worked.

@Frostgold, totally get the babysitter drama! We had that happen and ended up doing a movie night on the couch. At least we got pajamas on.

@Frostgold, Olive Garden is a solid choice! My husband and I love their breadsticks. Hope you can get out there soon!

Yeah, @Frostgold, babysitters are a nightmare. @MellowYellow, that's a smart idea with the teen down the street. We should try that.

@Frostgold, sorry about Olive Garden! It's hard when plans fall apart. @CozyCorner, pizza and a movie at home still counts! I do that sometimes after the kids are asleep.

@Frostgold, I totally get it! Sometimes the couch and a movie is exactly what you need after a long week. Pajamas are a must for me too.
