my legs hurt so bad after leg day is this normal??
Quote from tinfield on April 6, 2020, 8:11 pmit is 9 pm and i am finally home from work. my legs feel like jelly. i went to the gym at 5:30 which is super early for me. i did squats and lunges and i think i pushed too hard. now i can barely step off the curb. every step hurts so much. i bought a 2 dollar water at the convenience store on the way back because i forgot mine. my kid is asleep upstairs and the house is quiet but i am lying on the couch staring at the ceiling. i remember feeling good right after the workout but now i regret it. i need to pick up milk tomorrow from kroger and i am scared i wont be able to walk normal. is this supposed to happen or did i ruin something?

Quote from lovepine on March 16, 2020, 9:43 amsame. its like my brain just turns on at exactly 3. i lay there staring at the ceiling wondering why i sent that text 3 years ago. tried reading, tried meditation, nothing works. now i just accept it and listen to true crime podcasts until i pass out again. honestly tired of being tired but cant turn the thoughts off. ugh.

Quote from Kind1992 on April 9, 2020, 11:08 amSame here. I skip the meditation apps. Just take ibuprofen, put on compression socks, and lie flat for 20 mins. Hot shower helps too. Dont try to fix it instantly. Just rest properly. My lower back is killing me from coding all week so I know the pain. Keep pushin through but dont ignore the ache. Eat something salty too.

Quote from Sarah1978 on September 15, 2020, 11:15 pmive moved every 18 months for work and yeah it kills the vibe. hard to build intimacy when you are busy unpacking boxes or sleeping on an air mattress. my partner and i just stopped trying to plan dates during the first year in a new city. we just ordered takeout and watched movies until things settled down. now we wait until lease renews to start dating again

Quote from Boldleaf1982 on February 17, 2021, 10:38 amthree years is forever honestly. i’ve been off apps for two years now. my tribe taught me patience is good but not sitting around waiting for magic. i go to classes and meet people through friends. if he can’t commit in that time he’s just using the app for ego. stop waiting. keep living your life.

Quote from Sweety1987 on September 24, 2021, 10:35 pmMan that is rough. Tbh, Honestly we do a chore chart every Sunday night. Pretty much treats it like work shifts. He got the evening shift until 8 then I take over. It ain't always perfect but it helps split the mental load. If he ghosts his shift we talk about it the next day no yelling just facts. You gotta set boundaries early or it never changes.

Quote from Wiseowl1986 on January 8, 2021, 11:56 pmyeah it sucks. i basically stand up for the last 10 mins of every zoom to reset. also bought a cheap footrest for my desk setup. helps a lot when you have to sit through 3 hrs of synergy meetings. if its really bad maybe see a doc but mostly its just bad posture combined with sitting too long. my knees click like old floorboards honestly

Quote from SnowsaGA on November 1, 2021, 1:07 ami just ignore it. Omg, i put my headphones in and blast music so loud i cant hear anything anyway. if someone is staring, theyre probably just checking form or being rude. doesnt matter. i go there to lift heavy things and leave. i dont care who sees me. just keep lifting and focus on your own workout. dont let strangers ruin your vibe.
