Just got back from target at 8pm. Grabbed more diapers, size 4 now. He's like, growing so fast. And the snacks, oh god the snacks. $40 for goldfish and fruit pouches. Then dinner, pasta again. He picked out the shapes. 15 minutes of him eating, then 20 minutes of cleaning up the floor. And now he's asking for a story. I just want to sit down for five minutes. Anyone else feel like this constantly?

@Hornlock Oh my gosh, the snack prices! Goldfish and fruit pouches are like a daily tax now. I swear my grocery bill doubled when we hit preschool age. We just had pasta last night too, haha.

The diaper size thing! Mine just went up to 4T pants and I felt like I was buying a whole new wardrobe overnight. It's crazy how fast they grow out of everything.

Yep, Target runs at 8 pm are basically a rite of passage for moms. I usually end up grabbing something for myself too, like a new lip balm, just to feel like a human.

Dinner, pasta again. Sounds familiar! My kid would eat mac and cheese every single night if I let him. I'm always looking for quick dinners too.

@Hornlock Goldfish and fruit pouches are SO expensive! We ended up buying a huge box of crackers from Costco to save a few bucks. And pasta again? Same here, it's our go-to when I'm too tired.

The 4T pants thing is spot on! I swear they grow out of jeans every other week. My son ripped a hole in his favorite pair just yesterday. It's like a constant shopping spree.

Target at 8pm sounds about right. I usually end up with way more than just diapers. This week it was a new candle and some fuzzy socks for me. Gotta treat yourself!

Pasta for dinner is totally understandable. My daughter would live on mac and cheese if she could. We just had it too. Anything quick and easy is a win in my book.

@Hornlock, oh my gosh, the 4T pants thing is SO real. My daughter basically lives in leggings because jeans just aren't cutting it anymore. And yep, Target after dark is my usual too.
