is my aura actually broken or am i just exhausted
Quote from bluebirdsky1987 on January 8, 2019, 6:49 pmI have been feeling off for weeks. Not sad just empty. I went to Target last Tuesday at 8 pm and forgot my wallet. I stood there for five minutes staring at the cart. My daughter asked if I was okay and I said yes but my voice shook. I work eight hours then another four at home. I eat cereal for dinner sometimes because I forget to cook. People talk about aura cleansing and crystals. I bought a $12 sage bundle from Amazon last month. I burned it in the bathroom. The fire alarm went off. My husband yelled. I still felt tired. I drink two cups of coffee and still feel heavy. Is this spiritual or just burnout?

Quote from barbara1995 on March 19, 2019, 10:59 pmhonestly same. ive stopped trying to meditate every morning and guilt myself for missing days. now i just do what feels doable. sometimes its five minutes of breathing, other times its napping. im done performing spirituality. i teach second grade so i deal with chaos all day, im not adding mental load. just be kind to yourself.

Quote from bright1962 on September 20, 2020, 7:14 amok so this happens to me too ngl. i figured out its the fabric softener causing it honestly. that stuff coats the fibers and traps bacteria basically. just stop using dryer sheets or liquid softener on activewear. instead throw a cup of white vinegar in the rinse cycle. smells like nothing once dry but kills the funk. also dont let wet clothes sit in the hamper for days that makes it worse trust me.

Quote from Fogconquest on October 25, 2020, 4:58 pmI get it. My husband was pushing hard too. I stopped overthinking the performance part and just told him we need low pressure. We switched to just touching without expecting penetration. Took the edge off for both of us. Now we actually want to be closer. Don’t force it if your body says no. Communication works better than ghosting through it. Just be honest.

Quote from Debra1993 on June 16, 2020, 1:46 amI feel this. Lol, Last year I hit a wall too. I’m a teacher so I spend all day pouring into others and come home with nothing left. I realized it wasnt laziness, it was just burnout. Now I force myself to rest without guilt. Honestly just taking a nap or doing absolutely nothing for an hour changed everything. Youre not lazy, youre just drained. Be kind to yourself.

Quote from wise1982 on June 27, 2021, 3:06 pmhonestly just changed his routine completely. told him if he wants to keep seeing me he needs to shower right after the gym not wait till he gets home. also switch to a stronger deodorant and change underwear twice a day if sweating. i dont care how tired he is nobody wants to smell that. simple fix really.

Quote from bonetavern on June 25, 2021, 9:13 pmHonestly that’s just rude. My husband says the same sometimes bc my mom was a different era. I just tell him to stop comparing. I cook what tastes good to me now. Sometimes it’s simpler. If he doesn’t like it he can make it himself. Seriously don’t let it get to you.

Quote from Rootrill on April 3, 2021, 4:03 amHoney, mine is dead too. My husband snores like a chainsaw so we just sleep. Honestly, I find more joy being alone with a glass of wine or reading a book. It's just life at this stage. Don't beat yourself up about it. We're grandmas now, not models. Enjoy the peace and quiet.

Quote from Bright1982 on September 1, 2021, 12:21 amhonestly i stopped keeping score years ago. now i just buy myself flowers and go get lunch with my best friend. we laugh about it over coffee. he gets the silent treatment until he remembers next time. dont waste your energy crying over it. treat yourself instead. my husband forgot our 30th too. i just changed the subject and ordered pizza. life goes on.

Quote from Calm1977 on April 24, 2021, 5:53 pmdont miss it. i am 46 and my husband and i have been together 20 years. we stopped doing all that fake excitement years ago. now we just chill. watch tv, eat good food, talk about bills. it is peaceful. the honeymoon phase is exhausting. you spend all your energy trying to impress someone. i rather be comfortable and know he is not going anywhere. save your energy for yourself.
