is it normal to fall asleep during sex at our age ??
Quote from Barefoot1980 on January 19, 2019, 12:38 amI went to Walmart yesterday to buy dog food and now I am just so tired. My husband was trying to be romantic last night around 9 pm but I fell asleep with my eyes open. I felt so stupid. I told him I was just resting my eyes but I was actually out cold. He sighed and got out of bed. I swear my bones ache more than usual. The pharmacy bill was huge this month too. I just want to sleep through the night without feeling guilty. Is this a medical thing or just normal for women over sixty. Please tell me I am not alone in this. My grandson visited this weekend and kept me up late.

Quote from mistsaga on August 8, 2020, 7:30 pmHonestly same. For real, That humidity gets to me every single night. I stopped trying to fight it and just bought those gel cooling pads for the mattress. Works a little better than flipping sheets. Also keep a damp washcloth by the bed and rotate it in the freezer. Not glamorous but it helps me get maybe six hours. Good luck out there.

Quote from fairlark on April 19, 2020, 9:10 amOmg I feel you. Honest truth, it’s not the fabric, it’s your dryer. I stopped putting that basket in the dryer long ago. That lint trap holds onto moisture and bacteria like crazy. Now I just leave mine out to air dry or throw in a tennis ball to circulate air. Also make sure you’re using enough detergent, gym clothes get super sweaty. Mira si te ayuda.

Quote from DreamBrook on November 13, 2020, 5:57 pmman its awful. i just gave him tylenol and laid him on the couch with extra blankets. then i set five alarms on my phone to check his temp while hes sleeping. if hes burning up by 4am i call out and just dont go in. better than trying to work with a sick kid at home. hope he breaks the fever soon.

Quote from Sharon1967 on October 17, 2021, 8:16 pmHonestly same. Omg, I stopped trying to touch my toes years ago. Now I just do gentle stretches in the morning so I dont feel like a rusted robot during the day. At 48 my body tells me no every single time. Just accept it and find what works without pain. Yoga taught me to listen to my limits not push past them.

We made a schedule last Sunday after service. He does dishes and laundry I do dinner. If he complains I tell him to talk to my sister. Yall gotta make him pull his weight.

Quote from Lichenarmistice on July 21, 2021, 8:38 pmHoney pull up a chair and listen close. I swear, I packed my good china and moved to the guest room. He can have his space. I used that time to read my bible and drink iced tea on the porch. If he wants me back he better come ask for it with a clean heart. I ain't waiting around all night anymore.

Quote from Proudglow on December 30, 2021, 2:19 pmhonestly it makes me so mad because i did all the planning last year and he just got a gift card. Honestly, i don’t care about the date itself but the lack of effort stings. i usually just make a big mess in the kitchen to remind him. it’s stupid but i need that acknowledgment. also semicolons are fun

Quote from Thymeglow on May 22, 2021, 8:57 pmdont miss it. i am 46 and my husband and i have been together 20 years. we stopped doing all that fake excitement years ago. now we just chill. watch tv, eat good food, talk about bills. it is peaceful. the honeymoon phase is exhausting. you spend all your energy trying to impress someone. i rather be comfortable and know he is not going anywhere. save your energy for yourself.
