Quote from grace1982 on November 10, 2020, 3:58 amit is 11:30 pm. the dishwasher is still running. i just finished folding laundry for the third time this week. husband sits down and says we should try roleplay next time. i stared at him. my back hurts from picking up groceries at trader joe’s. the bananas were two dollars. i have a mortgage and two kids who are sick again. i don’t have the energy to be someone else. i am tired of being a mom and a wife and me. i just want to eat my leftovers in silence. he thinks it is funny. i am not laughing. i have been working all day. my feet are swollen. please tell me i am wrong. do i have to do this or can i just say no.

Quote from AmberFire on February 10, 2020, 3:33 amnah man that sounds like purly weak abs or bad shoes fr. i used to get killed in the lower back til i started doing deadbugs every morning. also check your arch support. walking 3 miles on concrete with flat soles is gonna wreck u. i switch to my asics now and stretch my hip flexors right after. it helped so much.

Quote from goldmission on January 28, 2020, 11:24 pmugh same here. i literally could not move after sitting through hours of teachers explaining why my son needs more support. my brain is completely fried and my spirit is low. im just gonna sit on the couch tonight in sweatpants and eat takeout. no cooking, no cleaning, just pure silence. if u need to vent about the exhaustion hit reply. we deserve a break after all that mental load.

Quote from warm1996 on February 12, 2020, 5:12 pmI feel you. At my age, I just dont want it either. My husband sleeps in the other room half the time and we are perfectly fine with that. I prefer cuddling on the couch watching tv without any pressure to perform. Life is too short to stress over something you dont need to do. Just relax and enjoy your time together.

Quote from Softloch on April 24, 2020, 4:05 pmi stopped watching the sugar content in my water. honestly at this point i just drink tap water with lemon or plain seltzer. i am doing statins anyway so my diet is whatever doesnt make me late for work. dont stress it. the cholesterol meds are cheap and effective. just take them and move on with your day.

Quote from stormspirit on October 9, 2020, 1:25 amlol yeah my man is the same. he gets hard like five seconds after we start making out its honestly kinda funny. i just laugh and tell him to chill but also its kinda cute that hes into me that much. we just roll with it and get on with it. no big deal really, just how his body works. sometimes i tease him about being so quick to react but nah its all good.

Quote from elmfoundry on November 14, 2020, 12:07 amhonestly i just ignore the suck. I swear, ive been lifting alone for two years now since the divorce. some days i barely survive the set but i show up anyway. my knees hurt and i feel like a grandma but seeing the weight go up keeps me sane. its not about being strong its about doing it when you dont want to. thats the only win that matters right now.

Quote from Crystal1977 on August 25, 2020, 1:36 pmhon i set clear boundaries day one. told her house rules include no rituals in living spaces. she can do it in her own place or outside. simple as that. been married 12 years, never had issues since. if you dont speak up they just keep doing it. be direct but polite. my dad in law handles the stuff now. works for us.

Quote from Danielle1995 on August 5, 2020, 7:04 amSame here. My husband also takes forever. I just put on noise cancelling headphones and listen to music. Or I do my own skincare routine downstairs. No point waiting. Let him take his time. I make chai for myself and relax. It is better than sitting there angry. You learn to manage it. Just ignore the shower sound and focus on yourself. Works for me most days.

Quote from kindpromenade on May 21, 2020, 2:37 pmAura is just a fancy word for burnout. I stare at my spreadsheet at 7pm and feel like a ghost haunting my own kitchen. Sleep helps. Also eating something that isnt granola. If you cant look in the mirror without screaming maybe take the day off. Work does not care if you glow.
