It is 945 pm and my feet hurt so bad. I just got home from the school. We did parent teacher conferences all day long. I talked to forty two parents in the gym. It was loud and hot. I drank three large cups of Diet Pepsi from the teacher lounge vending machine. Each one was two dollars fifty cents. My shoes are totally rubbing my heels raw. I am wearing my old purple sneakers from Target. I just want to take them off and soak my feet in the bathtub. But the laundry pile is waiting on the bed. I still need to make dinner for tomorrow. I am so tired I can barely think straight. I keep staring at the wall. Does anyone else feel completely wiped out after a full day of conferences?

honestly yeah. i do it all the time now. usually happens after foreplay when im just so exhausted from work. my partner jokes about it but doesnt mind. we just cuddle and fall asleep together. its cozy and honestly the best part of the night for me. no pressure to perform just rest.

nah it is totally possible i just turn 38 last week and my energy levels are actually higher than they were in my twenties. i stopped eating processed sugar and started lifting heavy weights 4 days a week. also sleep matters so much more now. if u are sleeping 6 hours and drinking lattes all day yeah ur gonna feel dead. change the routine and the energy comes back simple as that

ugh right. i used to try deep breathing but it just made me more anxious. now i just zone out with loud action movies or listen to true crime podcasts. keeps my brain busy so i dont overthink. also ice baths help when my muscles feel tight from stress. honestly just numbing the noise out works better than trying to calm down. its exhausting being on high alert all the time.

it is 11 pm and the house is dead quiet. my husband fell asleep on the couch at 930 pm with the tv still on. i just did laundry for the fourth time this week because the kids spill juice everywhere. i went to target today for a $2 cereal box and spent $80 on stuff i do not need. now i am sitting here drinking rooibos tea but i cannot relax. the air feels heavy. why does my home feel so cold and empty when my whole family is literally in the other room? i tried lighting a candle from ulta but it did not help. i just feel so drained. is this normal or am i just crazy?

honestly just keep it stupid simple. military life is stressful enough without trying to figure out a ten, step routine. i stick to ceraface cleanser, moisturizer, and spf 50. thats it. if my skin looks trash i just sleep it off. stop overthinking it. complicated routines are a trap. consistency beats intensity every time. just wash your face and slather on sunscreen. really.

Honestly im just resting. Like sleeping until my body stops screaming. I stopped trying to be productive or fix everything overnight. My therapist told me to treat myself like I had the flu, so thats what I do. Drink agua, nap in the day, eat whatever sounds good even if its junk food. You cant pour from an empty cup so just let yourself be useless for now. Take it one hour at a time.

same honestly. For real, i’m burnt out from taking two cabs to the gym after work just to hit a PR. my brain won’t shut up about work so my weight is off. i switched to 3 short sessions a week instead of killing myself 5 times. progress is slow but i’m less exhausted. maybe u need rest not more grind. hope that helps sm

Omg I feel you. Honest truth, it’s not the fabric, it’s your dryer. I stopped putting that basket in the dryer long ago. That lint trap holds onto moisture and bacteria like crazy. Now I just leave mine out to air dry or throw in a tennis ball to circulate air. Also make sure you’re using enough detergent, gym clothes get super sweaty. Mira si te ayuda.

i just ignore it. i put my headphones in and blast music so loud i cant hear anything anyway. if someone is staring, theyre probably just checking form or being rude. doesnt matter. i go there to lift heavy things and leave. i dont care who sees me. just keep lifting and focus on your own workout. dont let strangers ruin your vibe.
