constipation after coding all week help
Quote from Warm1982 on January 21, 2019, 4:11 pmIt is 11 pm on a Sunday and I am finally sitting down. My stomach feels really hard. I spend four days straight coding for my project at work. I sit in my chair from 9 am to 7 pm. I forget to drink water because I am focused on fixing bugs. I usually buy the cheap fiber supplement at Watsons for 12 dollars but it does not help this time. I tried drinking warm lemon water in the morning but nothing happened. My daughter kept asking for snacks and I ate too much junk food because I was stressed. I feel bloated and tired. I do not want to go to the doctor for this. It is just so annoying after a long week. What do you guys actually drink or eat to get things moving when you are stuck at a computer all week?

Quote from Chloe2001 on December 8, 2019, 12:52 pmMy husband works construction and comes home dead tired. i used to feel rejected but realized he just needs rest. we cuddle sometimes but don't push for sex. if i really want it, i initiate gentle touch without expectations. if he says no, i respect it and we watch tv. communication helps more than pressure. don't take it personally, man just needs to recharge.

Quote from Grace1976 on September 24, 2020, 11:18 pmThat sounds like a lot of work. I keep my husband happy on weekends so I can sleep in during the week. We also have kids so weekends are basically for family time anyway. If he wants that much energy maybe he can focus on his own hobbies. Honestly I just want to rest too. My body gets tired from work and looking after the house.

Quote from Sunlitrain2001 on January 30, 2020, 8:51 amI just keep a jump rope in my suitcase always. For real, Once we land and unpack slightly, I do 10 mins a day in the living room. No gym membership drama. If we move again before three months, at least I stayed active. My back hates it but better than getting stiff on the plane or couch. Simple routine beats fancy equipment any day.

Quote from Finrhythm on December 2, 2020, 4:25 amnah its supposed to feel like work lol. im 38 and i hate cardio so every step on the treadmill is a struggle. i just go because my doctor said i need to keep my blood pressure down. its not fun but its necessary. i treat it like my daily chores, just gotta get it done so i can sit around later without feeling guilty.

Quote from Goldensunset2002 on November 4, 2020, 1:33 ami get this too. Honestly, even when i sleep eight or nine hours, my jaw just drops. it’s annoying. i usually just push through it because it’s socially awkward to keep yawning. sometimes i drink an extra cup of coffee to feel awake but honestly it’s just a weird habit for me now. i don’t think i do anything specific to fix it. just ignore it.

Quote from Bluebird2000 on May 5, 2020, 10:56 amyeah honestly same here. i used to feel like my heart was gonna explode after just walking up stairs, let alone running. now i do 5ks weekly but still pant like a crazy person. i just stop, drink water, and wait it out. its not pretty but you get used to the feeling. dont push too hard at first. maybe try walking intervals if running feels too much.

Quote from dreambark on November 15, 2021, 7:36 amhonestly i stopped keeping score years ago. now i just buy myself flowers and go get lunch with my best friend. we laugh about it over coffee. he gets the silent treatment until he remembers next time. dont waste your energy crying over it. treat yourself instead. my husband forgot our 30th too. i just changed the subject and ordered pizza. life goes on.

Quote from Braveheart1989 on June 16, 2021, 11:41 pmHoney, I skipped my walk today. I swear, Just sat on the porch with sweet tea instead. My knees were aching and the humidity was already setting in. Dont let guilt run your life. Drink some water, put on comfy clothes, and rest up. Tomorrow is a new day to try again if you want to.
