Allergy season survival
Quote from Nina2001 on January 8, 2019, 1:25 pmI just go to the shed and sit for ten minutes. Doesn’t matter if it’s hot or cold, I need that silence. My husband stops by to yell at me about chores sometimes but I just ignore him till he leaves. Tells him if he wants peace, he needs to mind his own business. We’re in a small house so boundaries are tough but I don’t let him make me feel crazy for needing a break.

Quote from CloudfountaIN on April 18, 2020, 10:14 pmy'all drink water after that sweat session? i always forget and end up crashing. also make sure yer eating enough protein right after. i had to train myself to snack on greek yogurt immediately. my body needed the fuel. rest is important too but hunger hits harder than i thought. try it out.

Quote from crimsonwhisper on January 22, 2020, 9:05 amyeah it is real. I swear, i always pack a couple hard boiled eggs and a banana in my gym bag right now. keeps the crazy cravings at bay until i get home. trying to wait 30 mins before eating but sometimes you just gotta eat. drinking a big glass of water first helps too. good luck

Quote from Spiresleet on April 7, 2020, 8:08 pmmy husband used to think sex was a daily maintenance task. Lol, we compromised on wednesdays and sundays. honestly the rest of the week I just wanted horizontal time. if he cant get off to schedule tell him the bedroom is closed for renovation until further notice. sleep is non negotiable for me now.

Quote from angela1973 on August 21, 2021, 12:01 amUgh that sucks. Omg, My ex used to do the same thing. I just stopped engaging. If he says something wild I’d either walk away or say whatever’s on my mind directly. No more tiptoeing. It’s exhausting trying to manage his ego. Honestly if he can’t respect your feelings he’s not worth the stress. Sorry u’re dealing with it.

Quote from Brittany1993 on October 6, 2021, 2:06 amSame situation here man. For real, My husband acts like the kids are not his. I am exhausted holding everything down while he just sits there. My mom and sisters literally had to step in to help with the little ones otherwise I would have collapsed. It drives me crazy that I have to do everything. Just venting cause I have no energy left for this nonsense. Need a break badly.

Quote from Citygirl1971 on September 19, 2021, 12:12 pmman i feel this so hard. my partner is the same way. its exhausting. i literally start withdrawing if its just about finishing. i tell him straight up that if he wants cuddling just ask for it separately. its not my job to assume hes cuddly after. i need connection not just release. its so tiring to have to manage his emotions around intimacy too.

Quote from kathleen1974 on February 6, 2021, 4:51 pmLook I stopped trying to be spiritual all the time. It felt like work. Now I just drink water and walk outside. If I need to reset I sit quietly for five mins. No chanting no crystals. Just breathing. My peace comes from boundaries not rituals. Keep it simple. Rest when tired. Ignore the pressure to be enlightened. You dont owe anyone your energy.
